Du Chong was a native of Haojing (present-day Chang'an, Shaanxi) during the Western Zhou Dynasty.
When he was just twenty years old, he studied under the True Person of Wenshi. When the True Person went to Shu (the Sichuan region), Du Chong stayed and lived in a thatched tower.
According to Volume 9 of Lishi Zhenxian Tidao Tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao) and The Stele of Biographies of Louguan's Founding Masters: King Mu (of the Western Zhou Dynasty) yearned for immortality, built numerous Taoist temples, and invited Du Chong and six others to be Taoist priests. After achieving success in cultivation and refinement, he gained insight into all the wonderful principles of the Dao. Later generations honored him as the True Person of Taiji of Wangwu Mountain.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
