Du Congfa was a figure at the end of the Tang Dynasty.
He possessed Taoist arts but falsely used "evil magic" to incite the common people of Chang, Pu, and He prefectures to rebel.

In the first year of the Tianfu era (901), Wang Jian dispatched Wang Jijian, the Military Commander of the Mobile Camp, to lead ten thousand troops. Wang Jijian joined forces with the troops from Dongzhou and Wuxin to suppress Du Congfa, and Du Congfa was defeated.
