The Fan Zhen 樊镇

Fan Zhen was a native of Tongzhou, Shuntian Prefecture, during the Qing Dynasty.
His secular name was Sizeng, with the courtesy name Zhushi, and his art names were Zhushi (Bamboo Master) and Zhushi Shanren (Hermit Who Boils Stones).

He became a monk and was officially registered at Baima Temple.
He was proficient in Taoist arts, skilled in composing poetry and prose, and adept at painting—he studied the painting style of Zhao Mengfu and was particularly renowned for his depictions of bamboo and rocks.
