The Fang Wenzhao 方文照

Fang Wenzhao was a native of Gushi, Henan in the early Ming Dynasty. Later, he moved to Putian, Fujian and settled there permanently.

He served as a ritual official at Lingji Palace south of Sanshan City in Fujian. During the Yongle reign, he compiled and edited Records of Immortal Xu in five volumes, which were published and circulated in the world.
