The Feng Guanguo 冯观国
Paul PengShare
Feng Guanguo (?-1162) was a native of Shaowu (now part of Fujian Province) during the Song Dynasty. He styled himself "Daoist Wudingqi" (Daoist of Boundless Freedom).

From a young age, he was quick-witted and perceptive in his studies. When he grew older, he traveled beyond the mundane world (as a wandering Daoist). He encountered an extraordinary person who taught him daoyin (a traditional Chinese practice combining guided breathing and body movements) and inner alchemical techniques. In addition, he also dabbled in astronomy, geography, feng shui (the ancient Chinese art of arranging spaces to harmonize with cosmic forces), and divination. He resided in Yichun and was renowned for his Daoist arts; visitors came in an endless stream to seek him out.
