The Feng Yuetan 冯月潭
Paul PengShare
Feng Yuetan was a Taoist priest at Yuanmiao Temple in Wujun during the early Ming Dynasty.
As recorded in Volume Three of Yuanmiao Temple Chronicle: Feng Yuetan had practiced the Taiyi Yuebo Rain-Supplicating Method for a long time, but failed to grasp its profound principles.

One day, a fisherman's wife came to the temple and taught him an esoteric technique, which suddenly made him gain enlightenment.
Later, he became highly skilled in Taoist magic and was famous for a time.
