Consisting of one scroll, it is included in What is The Daozang, under the category of Ritual Texts in The Dongzhen Section.
As one of the Taoist lamp rituals, this text is used for enshrining the Fire Gods of Liming Palace. It states that if believers can light lamps to worship, recite praises and prayers, and chant mantras and lamp verses, they will be protected from fires. The six Fire Gods listed in the text are: Nandan Jishou Tianzun (Nandan Longevity Honored One), Nanfang Huode Xingjun (Southern Fire Virtue Star Lord), Chihuang Shangzhen Daojun (Red Emperor Supreme True Dao Lord), Zhifa Yanshou Zhenjun (Law-Enforcing Longevity True Lord), Huozu Suiren Dijun (Fire Ancestor Suiren Emperor Lord), and Zhurong Fuyan Zhenguan (Zhurong Assistant Flame True Official).
