The Fu Qiyuan 符契元

Fu Qiyuan was a native of Fuzhou during the mid-Tang Dynasty and was officially registered as a Taoist priest at the Wutian Taoist Temple in the Upper Capital (the imperial capital). In the first year of the Changqing era (821 AD), he became renowned in the imperial capital for his virtuous conduct and profound Taoist practices; nobles and senior officials all associated with him and engaged in social interactions with him.
