The Fu Xianzong 付仙宗
Paul PengShare
Fu Xianzong (? - 760) was a native of Chang'an (now part of Shaanxi Province) during the reigns of Emperors Xuanzong and Suzong of the Tang Dynasty.
He was intelligent from an early age and had a keen interest in Taoism. At the age of twelve, he retreated to live in seclusion on Ziyang Mountain and Yu'an Mountain, where he built Xuanling Guan (Xuanling Taoist Temple).

During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong (also known as Tang Minghuang), he was summoned to the imperial court. His responses to the emperor’s questions fully met the imperial will, and he was granted generous rewards.
After a long time at the court, he requested permission to return to the mountains. The emperor then bestowed the title "Yingzhen Guan" (Yingzhen Taoist Temple) on the place where Fu Xianzong resided.
Fu Xianzong passed away in the third year of the Qianyuan era of Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty (760).
