The Gao Daoming 高道明
Paul PengShare
Gao Daoming was a figure of the Yuan Dynasty.
According to the Stele Inscription on the Founding and Restoration of Zhenqing Palace, "Daoming was endowed with the vital energy of Tao (Dao) from an early age. He devoted himself to upholding Taoist teachings with diligence and unremitting effort."

He resided on Wudang Mountain and studied under Zhang Shouqing, a prominent Taoist master.
He completed the unfinished cause of Zhang Shouqing—constructing Taoist palaces and promoting Taoist teachings.
In the late Yuan Dynasty, after Zhang Shouqing, he succeeded to the position of "Tidian" (the administrative head) of the Great Tianyi Zhenqing Wanshou Palace (Palace of Great Heavenly Unity, True Celebration, and Eternal Longevity). Later, he was officially conferred the title of "Qingwei Yanjing Xuandao Dashi" (Venerable Dharma Master of Spreading Celebrations and Propagating Tao in the Qingwei School of Taoism).
