The Gui Xinyuan 桂心渊

Gui Xinyuan (? - 1276) was a figure in the early Yuan Dynasty.

He wandered freely across rivers and lakes, proficient in Taoist arts, and was commonly known as "Gui the Madman" among people.

He studied under Li Yuexi, learning the Taoist doctrines of the Quanzhen School. He was a fellow student of Jin Zhiyang (commonly known as "Jin the Bald-Headed"), and the two lived in seclusion on Mount Lushan.

Gui Xinyuan passed away in the first lunar month of the 13th year of the Zhiyuan era of Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1276).
