The Guo Laicheng 郭来澄
Paul PengShare
Guo Laicheng was a figure of the early Qing Dynasty.
He lived in seclusion and practiced asceticism on Zhongnan Mountain. In the second year of the Jiaqing reign (1797), he came to Jinge Mountain, visited Master Shen Qingyun (a master of Buddhist Vinaya), and climbed to the summit of Jinfeng Peak. After that, his whereabouts became unknown. He was a Vinaya Master of the 11th generation of the Longmen School (a branch of Taoism).
