The Guo Wen 郭文
Paul PengShare
Guo Wen was a native of Luoyang during the Jin Dynasty (266–420/420–479 CE), and his courtesy name was Wenju.
He practiced asceticism and lived in seclusion on Mount Tianzhu.

The True Person of Great Harmony (Taihe Zhenren, a revered Taoist immortal) descended to bestow upon him the Dao of the Great Truth (Taizhen Zhi Dao, a profound Taoist doctrine of spiritual perfection). Later, Guo Wen attained enlightenment in the Dao and ascended to immortality.
According to legend, he authored Record of the Golden Male (Jin Xiong Ji) and Record of the Golden Female (Jin Ci Ji), both of which contained apocryphal and divinatory texts popular in his era.
