He Qiong

He Qiong was a native of Lingling during the Tang Dynasty.
At the age of fourteen, she dreamed that a divine figure taught her the method of taking mica powder as nourishment; after following this method, she became light in body and robust in health.

She once went into the mountains to pick tea leaves, where she encountered Lü Dongbin (a famous immortal in Taoist legends). Lü Dongbin gave her a magical peach to eat and taught her techniques for cultivation and health preservation.
During the Jinglong era (707-710) of the Tang Dynasty, she attained enlightenment and ascended to immortality, and was later known to people as "He Xiangu" (Immortal He, one of the Eight Immortals in traditional Chinese Taoist mythology).
