The Heavenly Palace Treasure 天宫宝藏

A Taoist Canon compiled in the Song Dynasty.

In the fifth year of Dazhong Xiangfu during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of Song (1012), Zhang Junfang was appointed Assistant Compiler, in charge of compiling the Taoist Canon exclusively. Based on existing Taoist books and scriptures collected from Suzhou, Yuezhou, Taizhou and other places, Zhang Junfang, together with other Taoists, sorted them out in accordance with the outlines of the Three Caves and the abridged catalog of the Four Parts. They carefully examined the categories and standards, compared and revised the similarities and differences, and compiled them into a single canon, totaling 4,565 volumes. The catalog of cases was numbered starting with the character "Tian" (Heaven) and ending with "Gong" (Palace) from the Thousand-Character Classic, covering 466 characters, and the canon was titled Treasure of the Heavenly Palace of the Great Song Dynasty (Dazong Tiangong Baocang).

In the spring of the third year of Tianxi (1019), seven copies of the canon were transcribed and presented to the emperor. It is now lost.
