Paul PengShare
Huang Chongding was a native of Jinxi (now part of Zhejiang Province) from the late Song Dynasty to the early Yuan Dynasty.
During the Xianchun era (of the Song Dynasty), he accompanied the 36th Celestial Master to an audience with the emperor and was appointed as the Tiandian (Director) of the Imperial Western Taiyi Palace in Hangzhou Circuit, being put in charge of its affairs.

In the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty, he was promoted to "Master Chongsusu" (Master of Pure Tranquility) and took charge of collating and revising Taoist classics.
Later, he was conferred the title "Great True Person Chongsusu Duanjing Hongjiao" (Great Accomplished Taoist of Pure Tranquility, Upright Calmness, and Vast Teaching) and concurrently oversaw Taoist administrative affairs.
