Huang Taichu was a Taoist priest at Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi during the Chenghua reign of the Ming Dynasty.

During the Jiajing reign, he was posthumously awarded the title "Qingwei Antian Yangmo Baoyi Lühe Shoushun Ningxu Tiyuan Yijiao Zhenren" (a honorific Taoist title recognizing his virtues of tranquility, adherence to the Dao, harmony, and contribution to promoting Taoism).
