The Jade Register Scriptural Concluding Rite FULL NAME IS
Ritual of Inaugurating and Concluding Scripture Recitation for Salvation and Birthing Spirits in the Jade Register Fasting
The compiler is originally unnamed.
Judging from its content and literary style, it appears to have been compiled by scholars of the Ming Dynasty.

It is a single scroll and incorporated into the Ritual Norms Section of the Cavern Mystery Division of The Daozang.
This ritual was performed for holding the Grand Jade Register Fasting by imperial edict, reciting the Cavern Mystery Numinous Treasure Scripture of the Jade Chapters for Birthing Spirits of the Nine Heavens, and praying to the Heavenly Emperors of the Nine Directions for the ascension and salvation of deceased spirits. The ritual was also conducted in three sessions: morning, midday and evening audiences, with the scripture chanted three times in each session. The ritual proceedings and texts of the three sessions are largely similar with minor differences, all comprising the ritual colloquies, scripture inauguration, intoning the scripture title, scripture recitation, proclaiming and burning memorial scrolls and talismanic documents, among other rites. Additional ceremonies were held in the evening audience, including chanting eulogies to the scripture, the Three Scripture Homages, concluding the scripture recitation, ritual colloquies for bidding farewell to the spirits, guiding the spirits to settle in the spirit shrine, and paying homage of gratitude to the master, all embodying the merciful salvation essence of The Dao.
