The Jade Register Scriptural Requiem FULL NAME IS
Ritual of Reciting Scriptures for Salvation and Birthing Spirits in the Jade Register Fasting
The compiler is originally unnamed. It was roughly compiled from the Southern Song Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty.

It is a single scroll and incorporated into the Ritual Norms Section of the Cavern Mystery Division of The Daozang.
This ritual was performed for holding the Grand Jade Register Fasting by imperial edict, reciting the Cavern Mystery Numinous Treasure Scripture of the Jade Chapters for Birthing Spirits of the Nine Heavens, paying homage to the patriarchs and revered masters of Taoism through the ages, and praying for the salvation and deliverance of deceased spirits. The ritual is divided into three sessions: morning, midday and evening audiences, with their ritual proceedings and benedictory invocations largely identical with minor differences. The scripture was chanted three times in each session, and each recitation was accompanied by a set of rites including presenting memorials to the divine, invoking the descent of gods, proclaiming memorial scrolls, burning ritual texts, reciting incantations to summon divine officials, the Three Refuges, chanting the Eulogy of Karmic Destiny, inaugurating the scripture recitation, intoning the Eulogy for Spreading the Scripture Mat, and intoning the Scripture Title Ode, all embodying the merciful salvation essence of The Dao.
