Jia Ziran was a figure of the Tang Dynasty.

He was a Taoist priest at the Taiping Taoist Temple of Hengyue (Mount Heng). When he encountered Chen Shaowei, the True Person of Nanyue (the Southern Great Mountain), he showed great respect to him.

Later, he met the Zhangren of Qingcheng (the Venerable of Qingcheng Mountain), who descended to impart the esoteric technique of "Jiuyi Feixian" (Nine-in-One Flying Immortality) to him. After achieving success in his cultivation, Jia Ziran attained immortality and ascended.
