Jiang Zhongzhen was a native of Kuaiji (present-day Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province) during the Ming Dynasty.

His literary name was Deyi Zi (Master of Gaining Unity).
He studied the Can Tong Qi (The Unity of the Three) and gained considerable insights into it. He authored Can Tong Qi Zhu Jie (Annotations and Explanations of the Can Tong Qi), a work in three volumes. During the Qing Dynasty, Qiu Zhao'ao included this book in his Gu Ben Zhou Yi Can Tong Qi Ji Zhu (Collected Annotations on the Ancient Version of the Zhou Yi Can Tong Qi).

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
