The Jin Zongzhou 金宗周

Jin Zongzhou (1495-1565) was a native of Zhejiang during the Zhengde reign period of the Ming Dynasty.
His courtesy name was Ru. He was a registered Taoist priest of Yushu Daoist Temple. He traveled extensively to famous mountains, visiting teachers and seeking Taoist doctrines. Later, he retired to the temple, living upstairs without descending, and spent his last years there.
