The Ju Guozhen 巨国珍
Paul PengShare
Ju Guozhen (575–634) was a native of Wugong in the Sui Dynasty (now Wugong County, Shaanxi Province).
According to Zhongnan Mountain Shuojing Platform Inscriptions of Authentic Immortals Through Dynasties: In the Renshou era (601–604 CE), when he was thirty years old, he became a Taoist priest at Louguan (a renowned Taoist temple). He ate vegetarian food, wore tattered clothes, and strictly adhered to ascetic practices. The more he cultivated the Dao, the more abundant his spiritual attainments became, and the more gentle his mind grew. He aspired to transcend the mundane world and wander in harmony with heaven and earth, earning praise from people of his time.

He passed away in the eighth year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty (634 CE).
