Scripture of the Precepts on Diet as Preached by Lord Laozi (Lao Jun Shuo Fa Shi Jin Jie Jing) has an unknown author and was presumably compiled during the Northern and Southern Dynasties or the transition period between the Sui and Tang dynasties.
The original text is one volume long and not included in the Zhengtong Daozang (Zhengtong Era Taoist Canon).

It is catalogued in the Catalogue of Lost Taoist Scriptures.
Currently, one incomplete Dunhuang manuscript (P244) survives, with both its opening and closing parts intact, preserving 74 lines of the text.
Purportedly narrated by Lord Laozi himself, this scripture extols the benefits of bìgǔ shíqì (abstaining from grains and inhaling vital energy) and lists thirty-five dietary precepts for Taoist practitioners.
It is stated that those who uphold these precepts without violation will be blessed by the celestial beings with extended lifespan, as well as an abundance of clothing and food.
