Tai Shang Lao Jun Shuo Jiu Sheng Zhen Jing
Author unknown. It is believed to have been composed between the Tang and Song dynasties.

Consisting of one volume, it is included in the Benwen Section of the Dongshen Division in the Daozang (Daoist Canon).
Purporting to record the Supreme Lord Laozi expounding profound doctrines to his eight thousand disciples in the Glazed Seven Treasures Hall within the Purple Forbidden Palace, this scripture exhorts people to observe fasts and recite scriptures. By doing so, one can dispel disasters, resolve karmic grievances, prolong lifespan, obtain the protection of the Six Ding and Six Jia celestial generals, and enjoy eternal peace and safety.
