The Laojun's Curse-Breaking Sutra Full Name is
Scripture of the Supreme Lord Lao on Interpreting and Resolving Curses
The author is unknown. It seems to have been compiled during the Tang or Song Dynasty. The text consists of one fascicle and is included in the Scripture Texts Category of the Cave Spirits Division in the Daoist Canon (Daozang).

Purportedly transmitted by the Supreme Lord Lao to Yin Xi, this scripture expounds methods for breaking curses and dispelling malicious spells. It states: "If a pious man or woman is cursed or hexed by evil people, they shall bathe in scented water, establish a ritual altar, and invite Daoist priests of the Three Caverns to recite this scripture in rotation"—thereupon their illnesses will be cured and the curses lifted.
The scripture also records rituals to summon divine troops under the Five Emperors, eliminate evil spirits and ominous ghosts, track down those who cast malicious spells, and ensure that pious men and women enjoy prolonged fortune and longevity.
