The Li Guangxuan 李光玄

Paul Peng
Li Guangxuan was a native of the Bohai State (in the present-day Songhua River Basin) during the transition from the Five Dynasties to the early Song Dynasty.
When he wandered and sojourned in Mount Shaoshi (a part of the Central Sacred Mountains), he met Mr. Xuanshou, who taught him the esoteric method of Huandan (Returning Elixir). Consequently, Li Guangxuan wrote Jinye Huandan Baiwen Jue (The Hundred Questions and Answers on the Golden Liquid Returning Elixir) in one volume (also known as Haike Lun / The Discourse of the Maritime Traveler).
