The Li Jiao 李皎

Li Jiao was a figure of the Southern Dynasties (420–589 CE).
He was a disciple of Kou Qianzhi. Li Jiao practiced the Taoist arts of "qi absorption" (a technique for cultivating internal vital energy) and "bigu" (abstaining from grain, a ascetic practice to purify the body and attain spiritual refinement). He lived in seclusion in Mount Changshan for several decades. He passed away at the age of over 90.
