The Li Jue 李珏
Paul PengShare
Li Jue was a native of Chongqing (now part of Sichuan Province) in Sichuan during the late Northern Song Dynasty. His courtesy name was Shuangyu, and his literary name was Taixu.
In his youth, he studied the Golden Elixir Taoism (a core practice of Taoist alchemy focusing on refining elixirs for immortality or wellness) taught by Huangfang Gong and Song Defang. After that, he went to Wuyi Mountain in Shaowu to practice Taoism in seclusion. When he attained mastery of the Tao, he returned and changed his name to Louzhen.

Later, he went to Zhixu An (Zhixu Taoist Hermitage) in Zhenzhou, where he passed on his Taoist teachings to Zhang Ziqiong before entering Qingcheng Mountain. No one knows how his life ended afterward.
