Li Kuan was a native of the state of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period; some say he was Li A or Li Babai from the state of Shu.
Baopuzi Neipian·Daoyi (The Inner Chapters of Baopuzi·On the Meaning of Dao) states that he possessed Daoist arts, being able to chant incantations over water to cure illnesses, with quite remarkable effectiveness. He had nearly a thousand disciples, and people from high-ranking officials downwards all flocked to him.
Only his core disciples who were admitted to his inner chamber could receive the teachings of chanting over water, the three sets of talismans, as well as the methods of guiding and leading the vital energy in alignment with the sun and moon.

Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
