The Li Shouzheng 李守正
Paul PengShare
Li Shouzheng was a native of Yanzhou (now part of Shandong Province) during the Jin and Yuan dynasties, and his Taoist title was Anranzi.
At the age of twenty-seven, he became a Taoist priest by studying under the True Person Guo of Hongyang from Ziwei Palace in Yangqiu, Jinan.

Several years later, he finally received the "seal of approval" (a formal recognition in Taoism confirming mastery of doctrines).
Later, he returned to Tuoshan Mountain in Qingshe, where he built Haotian Palace. He resided there for twelve years without descending the mountain, adhering to the principle of "following nature" (a core Taoist concept). The temple thrived with abundant incense offerings from believers.
His story is recorded in Yanzhou Fu Zhi (Gazetteer of Yanzhou Prefecture).
