The Li Tuo 李脱

Li Tuo was a native of Shu during the Western Han Dynasty.
He was known by the title "Eight Hundred".

Volume Ten of The Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied Taoism states that he resided for a long time at the foot of Longqiao Peak in Jintang Mountain of Shu to practice Taoism.
Later, he imparted a volume of alchemical scriptures to Tang Gongfang from Hanzhong. Tang Gongfang concocted the elixir on Yuntai Mountain, and after the elixir was successfully made, he attained Taoism and ascended to immortality.
