The Liang Kelan 梁可澜

Liang Kelan was a native of Shunde, Guangdong Province, during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), and his courtesy name was Yuanshu.

As recorded in Gazetteer of Guangdong Province (Guangdong Tongzhi): In his youth, Liang Kelan was erudite and knowledgeable, with a particular talent for poetry and prose. When he grew older, he had a deep love for mountains and rivers, so he became a Taoist monk and lived in seclusion on Luofu Mountain. Admiring Ge Hong (a famous Taoist scholar and alchemist of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, renowned for his studies on inner and outer alchemy) and his practice of elixir cultivation, Liang Kelan styled himself "The Wild and Long-crying Immortal of the Thirty-Two Peaks." His reputation was prominent in his time, and dozens of scholar-officials sought his friendship and association.

He authored works such as Poems of the Wild Immortal (Kuangxian Shi) and Essential Sayings on Cultivating Perfection (Xiuzhen Yaoyu), which have been passed down to later generations.
