The Liu Gang 刘纲
Paul PengShare
Liu Gang was a native of Xiapi (now Suining County, Jiangsu Province, China) during the Jin Dynasty (266–420/420–479 CE).
He initially resided on Mount Siming, where he studied under Master Bo (Bo Jun) as his disciple. Through this tutelage, he attained proficiency in Taoist magical arts, enabling him to use talismans and official notices (a type of ritual document in Taoism) to summon and control ghosts and spirits.

He practiced Taoism in seclusion within a private chamber, making sure not to let others know about his cultivation.
