The Liu Guquan 刘古泉

The Liu Guquan 刘古泉

Paul Peng
Liu Guquan was a native of Henan in the early Ming Dynasty.

From a young age, he devoted himself to Taoism. Later, he entered Wudang Mountain, studied under Zhang Sanfeng as a disciple, and resided at Zixiao Nunnery.

He often went to the foot of Baozhu Rock, sat alone on a futon, and meditated to comprehend the essence of Dao.
Together with Yang Shancheng, Zhou Qide, and Lu Qiuyun, he was honored as one of the "Four Immortals of Taihe".
