The Liu Yuanzhang 留元长

Liu Yuanzhang was a figure of the Southern Song Dynasty.

He studied under Bai Yuchan. In the third year of the Jiading era of Emperor Ningzong of the Song Dynasty (1217), Bai Yuchan taught him The Book of Nine Tripods, Gold, Lead, Cinnabar and Mercury, imparted to him the formulas of Taiyi Daogui (Taiyi Alchemical Agent), Huofu (Fire Talisman) and Jinye (Golden Elixir), as well as the texts of Zixiao Xiaoming Fengting (Zixiao Summoning Thunder and Wind).
Subsequently, Liu Yuanzhang compiled these teachings into Haiqiong Wendaoji (Collected Dialogues on Dao Inquiry by Haiqiong).
