Liu Zhengqing was a figure who lived during the Jin and Yuan dynasties. His literary name was Yuanchengzi.
He was bestowed the title "Xizhen Dashi" (Great Master of Rare Truth) and granted a "zijin lan" (a formal robe trimmed with purple and gold, a symbol of high honor in ancient China).

He held the positions of "Daozheng" (the official in charge of Taoist affairs at the prefecture level) of Yizhou in Yidu Circuit, and "Jiaomen Tidian" (the supervisor of Taoist religious affairs).
