Lu Shizhong was a figure during the Xuanhe era (1120-1127) of the late Northern Song Dynasty.
Holding the title of "Shangqing Dadong Sanjing Dharma Master" (a revered Taoist title associated with the Supreme Purity tradition and esoteric scriptures), he resided on Mount Damaoshan and compiled the first volume of The Supreme Xuanyuan Three-Heaven Jade Hall Great Law. This work was widely circulated in the world.

It is included in the "Fangfa" (Methodology) category of the "Dongzhen" (True Grotto) section in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
