The Lü Weiyi 吕惟一

Lü Weiyi was a native of Yugan (now part of Jiangxi Province) during the late Northern Song Dynasty and early Southern Song Dynasty.

He was upright and sincere in his conduct, and possessed Taoist magical arts, with the ability to refine cinnabar (a mineral commonly used in Taoist alchemy).
During the Shaoxing era (1131-1162), he was appointed as the administrator of Yanjia Guan (Yanjia Taoist Temple). Later, he passed away at an advanced age.
