The Luo Shouming 骆守明
Paul PengShare
Luo Shouming (1114–?) was a native of Pengze, Jiangzhou (now part of Jiangxi Province) in the early Southern Song Dynasty, with the courtesy name Deguang.
He was an officially registered Taoist priest at Taiping Xingguo Palace on Mount Lushan and studied under Liu Dazhang.

He was known to people as "Ancestor Luo" and held the Taoist title "Yangzheng" (Cultivating Righteousness).
As recorded in Volume 5 of Collection of Facts About True Lords of Taiping Xingguo Palace on Mount Lushan (Lushan Taiping Xingguo Gong Cai Zhenjun Shishi): During the Jianyan era of Emperor Gaozong, he took refuge in Poyang to avoid chaos; before long, he moved to Longde An (Longde Hermitage) in Chaoyi.
Every day, he bought small animals and released them, and he never ceased this practice.

Later, he returned to Mount Lushan and rebuilt Taoist monasteries. His famous disciples included Yu Huaide, Pan Huaixin, Liu Huai’en, and others.
