Mao Yingda was a Taoist priest of Daguan Courtyard at Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province during the late Song and early Yuan dynasties.

In the 10th year of the Dade reign (1307), he was officially appointed as "Chunsu Hongdao Chongmiao Dharma Master" and Tipian (Chief Administrator) of Chongzhen Wanshou Palace in Shangdu (the summer capital of the Yuan Dynasty).

In the first year of the Huangqing reign (1312), he was reassigned to the post of Tipian (Chief Administrator) of Chongzhen Wanshou Palace in Dadu (the capital of the Yuan Dynasty, present-day Beijing) and conferred the title "Zhengde Hongren Jingyi True Person".
