The Mei Xixian 梅希仙
Paul PengShare
Mei Xixian was a native of Xujiang in the late Southern Song Dynasty.
He was skilled in Confucian classics and poetry, and particularly adept at painting ink plum blossoms (a classic theme in traditional Chinese ink wash painting).

One day, the plum blossoms in his courtyard were in full bloom. Mei Xixian fetched a brush to paint the plum blossoms, then laughed heartily and passed away.
