The Meng You 孟优

Meng You was a native of Nanzhong (present-day Weishan County, Yunnan Province) in the state of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period.
He had lived on Weibao Mountain for generations and received the way of longevity and prolonged vision from a supernatural being, while also being proficient in medical skills and prescriptions. According to Xu Xiu Menghua Zhili Ting Zhi (Revised Records of Meng hua Directly Administered Subprefecture), in the third year of Jianxing (225) during the reign of Liu Shan, the Later Lord of Shu, Zhuge Liang launched a southern expedition. He mistakenly drank water from the Mute Spring, which caused convulsions in his hands and feet and locked his jaws, rendering him unable to speak. Meng You cured him immediately with medicine.

Later, he entered Mount Emei and his whereabouts became unknown. His descendants were granted the surname Meng during the Yuan Dynasty.
