The Miao Shanshi 苗善时

Miao Shanshi, a figure of the early Yuan Dynasty, styled himself Taisu and took the literary name Shi'an. He studied under Li Daochun and was a Quanzhen Taoist priest. He was bestowed with a golden-lined purple robe and the title "Xuan yi Gaoshi" (Lofty Scholar of Profound Unity).

He authored two works: Xuanjiao Dagong'an (The Great Case Records of the Profound Religion), in two volumes, and Chunyang Dijun Shenhua Miaotong Ji (The Records of Emperor Chunyang's Divine Transformation and Wondrous Penetration), in seven volumes.
