Niu Zhirong was a native of Shangdang during the Yuan Dynasty.

He entered the Taoist order in his childhood and studied under Real Person Li Zhishi of the Quanzhen Sect.

He had a thorough understanding of Taoist ritual ceremonies for fasting and held the Taoist ordination certificate (Fa Lu), which symbolized his qualification to perform Taoist rituals.

Following his master's teachings, he carried on the master's aspirations and undertakings. He diligently renovated and further expanded Xiuzhen Taoist Temple, and was later promoted to the position of Daozheng (a official title in charge of local Taoist affairs).

Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
