The Numinous Treasure Golden Register Longevity Tribute

The compiler is originally unrecorded.

Its benedictory prayers contain the verse "Perpetual Bliss to Great Ming, Broadly Opening the Realm of Longevity", thus the text is reckoned to have been compiled in the Yongle reign period of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty.
It is incorporated into the Ritual Norms Section of the Cavern Mystery Division of The Daozang.

The ritual recorded herein was performed on the emperor’s birthday to hold a fasting ceremony and offer birthday felicitations for the sovereign, praying for "ten thousand years of longevity for the sage Son of Heaven".

Its Taoist liturgical observances consist of three stages: the First Offering, the Second Offering and the Final Offering, hence it is named the Ritual of the Three Offerings, an imperial longevity ritual that embodies the supreme auspicious implication of The Dao.
