The Orthodox Unity Covenant Liturgy FULL NAME IS
Standardized Ritual for Establishing and Enacting the Alliance of Majestic Authority of Zhengyi with the Five Methods and the Perfect Writings of the Three Caverns for Sacrificial Offerings
Authored by Zhang Wanfu of the the Tang Dynasty.

In one volume, it is included in the Zhengyi Section of The Daozang.
This treatise expounds a complete system of Taoist sacrificial ritual protocols, dedicated to offering jiao ceremonies to all ranks of divine immortals, numinous spirits, celestial generals, official attendants, divine boys and jade maidens that appear in Taoist talismanic scriptures including the Shangqing Immortal Talismans, the Numinous Treasure Perfect Writings, the Eight Sceneries and Five Methods, the Secret Talismans of the Six Jia, and the Alliance of Majestic Authority Talismans of Zhengyi. The fundamental purpose of these rituals is to "present sincerity to Heaven and Earth, pray for blessings from the nether numinous spirits", to eliminate calamities and misfortunes in the mortal realm, to calm and stabilize the five internal organs within the body, and to enable practitioners to attain immortality at an early age. The sacrificial ritual procedures consist of thirteen sections: consecrating the ritual altar, observing fasting and purification, offering blessings upon entering the household, igniting the ritual censer, summoning the spirit officials, petitioning the celestial lords with prayers, sending off the divine immortals, offering blessings upon exiting the household, and abstaining from various prohibitions after the jiao ceremony.
The principal deities venerated and talismanic scriptures upheld by Taoism in the Sui and Tang dynasties can be clearly observed from the ritual protocols recorded in this text, which bears the canonical ritual characteristics of the scriptures preserved in The Dongshen Section.
