The Peng Zhizhong 彭致中

Peng Zhizhong lived during the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty.
He was a Taoist monk of the Xianyou Mountain and belonged to the Longmen (Dragon Gate) Branch of the Quanzhen Sect.

He collected songs and verses by immortals and virtuous figures from ancient to his own times, and compiled them into Remaining Sounds of the Crying Crane, a work in nine volumes.
This book is an important material for the study of Quanzhen Sect literature.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition.
