The Pi Xuanyao 皮玄耀

Pi Xuanyao was a figure during the Western Han Dynasty.
He was a Taoist priest registered at Mount Qingcheng (present-day Guan County, Sichuan Province).

He was well-versed in Taoist classics and secret texts, and was a Taoist companion of Wang Gushen in the immortal tradition. Volume Twelve of The Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied Taoism states that he traveled around famous mountains, chose to reside beside the Golden Mother Hall in the Southern Sacred Mountain (Nanyue), practiced the Great Method of Returning to the Origin and Embryonic Breathing, and attained enlightenment after several years. During the period when Emperor Wu made a southern tour, he was granted the title of Mr. Taisu (Supreme Purity).
