The Qian Ruowu 钱若无

Qian Ruowu (? - 1420) was a native of Jingkou Yunyang (now Dantu County, Jiangsu Province) in the early Ming Dynasty.

He became a Taoist monk in his youth and practiced and inherited the Qingwei Taoist magic.

In the 13th year of the Yongle reign (1415), he was specially selected by imperial order to engage in ascetic practices and ritual offerings at Jingle Palace.

In the 16th year of the Yongle reign (1418), recommended to the imperial court by Zhang Yuqing, the 44th Heavenly Master of Taoism, he was officially appointed as the Tidian (a senior Taoist administrative position) of Jingle Palace. He passed away due to illness in the 18th year of the Yongle reign.
